Timescale 2005 - Due to two water-maker failures Leven had enforced stays firstly, in Rota, Spain for 1 week and secondly in Santa Cruz, Tenerife for 5 weeks. The ETA is therefore February 2006.

• February 2005 - Launch expedition
• March - Fundraising and pr/advertising campaign
• August - Depart from Spain
• August 2005 - February 2006 - Track Rower’s progress
• February 2006 - Arrive Trinidad and return to UK

Entertainment at home & at sea

Leven’s employer (Stocktrade) has given him a share portfolio to manage whilst at sea, and a newspaper has shown an interest in letting everyone track its performance by publishing a daily account. Stocktrade, a division of Brewin Dolphin Securities has kindly agreed to donate any of the profits the Rower makes to the two charities.

A number of activities to help raise funds and interest both prior to and during the expedition are being organised; games through the website, kit list donations and competitions through media partners are just some of the plans.
